WOW it is getting close...

So in a little over a week it will be here. Finally.

I wanted to give you guys a sneak peek at the official AROTR shirt for this year...


There is so much leading up to the event—the Beatles Trivia Contest launches tomorrow at courier-journal.com/abbeyroad. I had a sneak peek at the questions and it is going to take a real fan to get all of them right. Good Luck! Wow, great shirt!!! Did Ms. Pasquale have anything to do with the design?? I'm going to have to bring a separate suitcase so i can buy a bunch of these for friends back home!

Actually, I designed the shirts this year. All the print collateral follows the same theme, it really was a neat campaign to develop! But please do buy them and take them home to family and friends... It also has all the bands listed on the back of the shirt in the shape of a record. Should be a great souvenir.

Kelley Brown

I cannot remember when I first heard the Beatles music, but it is safe to say that it is one of my earliest childhood memories. However, it wasn't until I listened to Sgt. Pepper that I became a real fan. I fell in love with the diversity of the music and the message that transcends generations.

Over the years, Abbey Road has become my default album. I can always count on it to put me in a positive mood -- whether I need positive creative energy or just need a smile on my face. Every time that I listen to it, I find something new to appreciate.

I hope that I can share some of my Beatle-love with you.

Gary Jacob

Jacob is the producer of Abbey Road on the River.

Since 1980, he has been involved in producing and promoting many civic festivals and events.

Besides Abbey Road On The River, Jacob was also the producer of the National Rib Cook Off in Cleveland, Ohio, Easter at the White House, Kodak¹s Millennium Fest, and the International Children¹s Games Festival.

Jacob resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
